Vacation Time!

July 19-23, 2011

We made a family vacay to San Antonio and Landyn was worn out before we even started!

We started our San Antonio vacay at the SA Zoo

Ripley's Believe it or Not Exhibit was interesting...

We took a detour to the Alamo for a few pictures, but it was closed

Across the street we visited the Wax Museum where we posed with Lady Gaga in her famous meat suit,

danced with M.J. through the years...

Studied at Hogwarts,

discussed life lessons with Oprah,

and made speeches at the white house.

The next day we made a trip to Sea World where found Landyn's greatest dream on Earth - Sesame Street's Bay of Play where we met all of her favorite Sesame Street Characters, live!

We saw a 4-D movie with all of the muppets!

Then we played and swam at the Lil Gators and Lost Lagoons where we saw amazing, singing sea animals

and then went headed back to Bay of Play - we couldn't get enough Elmo and Friends!

She waited and negotiated to get on stage with her "friends"

which worked!

Then we posed with our Family Favorite - we have the same favorite food as this big blue guy...COOKIES!!!

And then it was time to go back to the hotel.

On our way home we decided to stop at Dick's Classic Garage to see the Tucker in person

It's Independence Day

This is all we got from July 4th this year. We were in the midst of potty training so we didn't have much time for pictures.

Nana, Pops and Aunt La came over to eat dinner and celebrate - without fireworks this year.

Houston has been in a long drought so no fireworks were allowed :(

Its POTTY Time!!!!

We are so proud of our little/BIG girl! We weren't 100% sure she was ready, but we had a pretty good feeling she was - so we tried and it worked!! In 3 days!

We went through lots of beeps from the timer (every 15 minutes),

LOTS of stickers and candy

Several pairs of big girl panties

TONS of toilet paper and sMiLeS :) :) :) :)

And a VERY big girl who is LOUD and proud when she does the potty dance and sings...

"I teetee-ed in the potty, I teetee-ed in the potty and I'm a big girl now!! YAY!"

The Truck

This 1963 Ford F-100 sat in this little boy's Daddy's garage for over 25 years while they slowly worked on getting it running for his 16th birthday...

~LIFE HAPPENS~

For Father's Day this year, this little girl had that same exact truck brought to her Daddy's garage so they can work on getting it running for her 16th birthday :)And someone seemed to be beaming from above...

Spring being a tough act to follow, God created June

Holly and I coach a Summer Fitness Camp each summer and Landyn had fun for one of the days. The Anton girls, Sophia, Juliet and Sarah are GREAT big "sisters" to little Landyn :)Old McDonald's Farm

We met up with Rainy and Olivia to let the girls run around and play around stinky farm animals! What fun for one-year-olds!!

Olivia is one day older than Landyn and both girls are soon to be BIG sisters in a few months - to baby brothers :)

Landyn LOVED the Children's Museum of Houston! Getting a season pass for this exciting place, is so worth it!!Landyn was imitating her Aunt Debbie who worked at Southwest Telephone Company for 37 years!!Her typical "O" face when she is shy, nervous or not so sure about something...

Before Landyn goes to school, maybe once a week, I take her to the donut shop to pick out a yummy treat for breakfast! She loves to look at all the colorful donuts and finally chooses one. However, the icing is the best and most of the donut doesn't get eaten. But she LOVES Riley's Donuts!
