Boogies

These are the BEST invention! Regular wipes break Landyn's face out and plain ole' tissues just don't get them. So...after a friend (Kristi) told me they work - I bought some and WOW! They really do. They are made from pure saline and have a wonderful smell (grape, fresh, or menthol). Kris was a little weirded out by the menthol flavor because he thinks it's crazy to give our baby a menthol. Fresh scent smells amazing and menthol gives your nose a little clarity! So for all of you moms out there who haven't seen these, please try them out. They are great and keep Landyn's face boogie-free and smelling good for all of those sweet, sweet kisses!!!

Once Upon a Time, 3 years ago...

Kris and I were engaged to be married! It seems like just yesterday that he gave me the box and the ring was in it! I am so blessed to have a loving husband and beautiful daughter, and all the love and support a family could want or need!! Thanks to all of our friends and family who have been there, to support and love us, each step of the way :)

Kris, Thank you for being such a loving husband who does anything and everything a wife would want or need. Thank you for choosing me for your lifelong partner. Thank you for your thoughtful nature. 5 Months

Landyn is already 5months old today!! I took her to the park today since the weather is finally brightening up! She loved the swing. There really wasn't anything else for her to do...\

She is now sitting up all by herself, turning over from front to back and front, she laughs and screams and loves to have "parties" in her crib. It's so funny listening to her laugh and play to herself - I always have to go in and check on things in there - you never know what a 5 month old girl can get herself into ;) She is now eating all sorts of fun foods - peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, apples, and oatmeal. We will try new foods as the weeks progress, but one thing we know is she LOVES food!! So now we are making sure to brush he two little front teeth :)
It's so bitter sweet to see our little girl grow, but we are so blessed that she is such a good, happy little girl!!!! We love you, Landyn Lu!!

Over the River and Through the Woods...

to Nana's house she goes!

Landyn stayed her first night away from home last night at her Nana and Pop's house. She had quite the adventure. Her Pops was cutting the hedges and sliced his finger so he spent the next 4 hours in the ER getting it stitched up. Aunt Debbie came to stay with Landyn while Nana went to wait with Pops.

Landyn was a good girl as usual and I was so excited to see her smiling face when I picked her up today :)

The Cuz

Jakob came to stay the night and next day with us (with his mommy, Andrea, in tow)! We had so much fun with them and Kris captured some really great pictures of the loving cousins - of course with 2 kids under the age of 2, getting "good" poses took quite a few 'takes'.

Shamrocker

Our little "clover" is growing so fast. I was so happy to finally get some "shorts" weather! March is one of our favorite months because Landyn's Mommy and Nana have a birthday, Spring Break happens AND Kris and I celebrate our engagement anniversary on St. Patrick's Day! My favorite color is green so he thought it would be suiting to pop the question on a day we could never forget!! :) :)

A duck says...

Landyn LOVES LOVES LOVES bathtime! She now sits up and tries so hard to get her duck - makes for a good little "mini lesson" during bathtime :) We got her some more bath toys since she is so interested in playing in the bath now :)

Twin "Peeks"

Landyn has another tooth broken through, right next to her first (on the bottom). So now she has two little twin teeth peeking through her precious, contagious smile :)
