Mommy took me to see Santa's Workshop and I got to see him and some of the reindeer!!

I had "Cookies with Santa" and got to sit on his lap. Mommy was so proud and took tons of pictures!

We had a little holiday get together with Mommies friends and their kiddos. Here are 2 of my friends, including my BFF Rylee. She is going to be a big sister!!!

It snowed while Mommy was at work, but Daddy set up the tripod and got some good shots. Here are a few:

Mommy finally got home and the second wave of snow hit! We got to share a white winter together!!

2 Months

Height: 24 inches (90-97%)

Weight: 11 lbs. 15 oz. (75%)

I'm 2 months old today. I was supposed to go to my doctor last week to get my shots, but it snowed and I have to go tomorrow now. I don't have official statistics for today, but Iwill tomorrow.

This month has flown by. Mommy went back to work so I have been spending a lot of quality time with Daddy and Nana. I like being on my tummy a little more because I can fully turn my head from side to side and don't get stuck. I'm starting to push up with my arms so I may be able to roll over soon.

I still love to be swaddled at night. I like my swing, but not as much as I used to because I have a bouncer that is great!! I'm starting to reach for things that are close. I laugh a LOT and smile constantly! My favorite game is sticking my tongue out and making noises. I still love to play on my Einstein mat too. The rattle is fun to hit. When I'm on my tummy, I can raise my head up and do mini push-ups!

I'm on pretty routine schedule now, going to bed around 9:30 or 10 and waking up between 5 and 6 every morning. I'm eating 6 ounces every 4 or 5 hours now, but go longer at night. I've started taking Zantac since I seem to spit up a lot, but it is much better now!

Every night, Mommy and I pray and thank God for my little life. I'm blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!

My Jumper

I got a new toy! It's a doorway jumper and I got to try it out today. I'm still too little to do it all by myself, but I love to kick my legs and so this will help me strengthen my leg muscles. I might be able to do it in a few weeks all by myself though!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year and had a good time and great food with family!! We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving like we did!

Houston Zoo

Mommy took me to the Houston Zoo. We had a lot of fun and want to go back again soon!

We saw a lot of different animals, but here was the first: The Komodo Dragon. It is up for adoption, but Mommy said "No!"

Landyn's Playtime

Each monring after her breakfast bottle, Landyn loves to play. One of the activities we do is her activity mat. She just loves to kick the star which makes music with motion. She also likes the rattle, but is still working on the coordination.

This morning she was just laughing and laughing so I had to get out the video camera. Her smiles and laughter just make our days and so we thought we could share the joy. Here is a sneak peak of our little girl at play.

My First Month

Weight: 10.5 pounds

I made it through my first month! Mommy and Daddy say it went by really fast. I've learned a lot this month and have accomplished many challenges. My muscles are getting much stronger so I'm able to hold my head up for a long time, turn my head from side to side, make lots of adorable and silly facial expressions and I can even laugh a little. My eyes are focusing much better now. I love to stare at objects and when I hear a noise, I find it with my eyes! My vocal chords are doing a good job because I'm starting to make lots of new noises and my cries have gotten much louder. Mommy and Daddy are able to tell what each cry means (good for us all) and take care of whatever it is that is the matter with me! I've taken 4 real baths so far and LOVE to splash my legs. I've started to push real hard with my legs and can even stand with help. I've grown out of 3 newborn sleepers and I'm starting to fit into some 0-3 months clothes. I'm also growing out of newborn diapers and into size 1! Mommy and Daddy have started mixing a couple ounces of formula with my milk which seems to help with my spitting up and makes me feel more full. I just started eating 5 ounces in my bottles today which is perfect for me! I only wake up 1 time during the middle of the night (usually around 2:30 a.m.). Mommy and Daddy take turns so they both get a good night sleep :) I've moved out of their room and into my own room! Mommy and Daddy have a video monitor so they can hear and see me when I make a lot of noise. We get to read books every day. My favorite books so far are "Color" books and Mirror Me where there is a mirror on every page for me to look at myself. Every night before I go to bed, Mommy and me cuddle and she reads me bedtime stories like Goodnight Moon and Goonight Gorilla. To put me to sleep, Mommy sings to me and Daddy makes car noises. I like the vibrations. In the morning, Daddy reads me a book called Daddy Hugs where we get to hug after he reads each page. I also have playtime where I kick my legs and move my arms in order to swing the rattles and toys on my activity gym. I usually fall asleep after a while though.

These pictures were taken this morning of me playing on my play mat. I'm doing a good job of holding onto objects when someone puts them in my hands.

I love being in my bed (awake and sleeping). The patterns and colors help my eyes to focus. I have this really soft material on the sides of my bed (Minky fabric) and I like to feel it.

Growing Up

I lost my umbilical cord today (day 20). Mommy says I'm growing up too fast - hehe! It looks like an "innie". I'm glad that thing is out of my way... Real baths, here I come!

Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Lake Jackson. It turned out to be a beautiful day. We had more pictures taken, but here are a few of our day. I slept most of the time, but got a little fussy when I had a wardrobe change. Maybe next year I'll be able to pick out a pumpkin of my own!

I had my 2 week check up today and I was exhausted!

Before the doctor's visit, Mommy, Daddy, Ba, Aunt Andrea and Jake took me to my very first place "out" to Centercourt Pizza. I slept most of the time.

Ba came to visit this weekend! It's the first time I've ever met her and I just love to sleep while she holds me! She bought me very cute winter clothes today when we went shopping in the Towne Center.

I started eating 4 oz this week instead of 3. My tummy feels much better after each meal :)

Nana brought my swing over to my house and I just love it! Mommy and Daddy are learning to use it more often because it makes me happy and soothes me when I'm a little fussy.

This week has really flown by. Daddy had to go back to work so I get a lot of "Mommy and Me" time when he is gone. But when Daddy is home, we love to cuddle and take little naps together on the couch or in their big bed.

Finger Puppets

Mommy remembered that I have finger puppets! She got them out this morning to play with me. I loved the panda bear (Mommy named him Percey Panda). I liked him the best because he is black and white. There are so many more that I will learn to love once my eyes focus better.
