School Easter Party

Landyn's class at school had their Easter Party and Landyn has so much fun! She knew exactly what to do with the eggs!

Change of Plans

We went in for our 18 week ultrasound and appointment where we confirmed that our baby boy is perfect. He has all the right organs in all the right places and they are all working as intended...
However is size is bit bigger than originally thought so ... we have a change of plans!

We will be expecting Lane Kristopher on September 17th, 2011 - one week before we thought originally! That makes me 19 weeks (almost HALF WAY - Geez this is going by fast!!)

His legs were crossed so we didn't get any good "BOY" pictures, but we DID see his parts :)

His hands were either in front of his face or held together like he is praying. He weighs approximately 9 ounces! We can't wait to meet you, little man!

Egg - stravaganza 2011

Our neigborhood community puts on various holiday events at our park and splash pad each year. We were able to participate in the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt this year. They had the Easter Bunny and easter egg hunts for kids of all ages!

Landyn has never participated in anything like this, but she somehow knew exactly what to do! Our friends, Bailey and Hunter came too, so it was a fun experience for all of them :)

Lovely Locks

Landyn finally got her very first haircut! I took her to my hair salon, Ideal Hair, where Vana did such a great job cutting her lovely locks...OFF.

Landyn was very interested in sweeping and cleaning. She watched as all of her hard work made it to the trash.

She sat in the chair like a BIG girl, but wasn't so sure about the curtain over her and a stranger messing with her hair (she doesn't even like me to play with it most of the time).

But after a little bribery (she takes to it very well)...

She did great!

Landyn received a certificate and a little baggie with her lovely locks (more for my sake). Hopefully those curls will grow back :)

Spring Shoot

Nana bought a great deal from Groupon - a photo shoot with a professional photographer (Lori Brown) including a CD with some of the photos. We had to reschedule once because Landyn got sick with an ear infection. The day of the shoot, Landyn woke up and got sick, but I didn't reschedule so we got what we could. She ended up having a virus for a few days :(

The photos don't show her normal, happy self, but with M&Ms, car keys and lots of bribery and playing, she caught a few smirks and smiles. We went to League City and shot pictures at an abandoned shopping center and nearby park. Enjoy!
